 Alghero, Sardinia 03/04/2011 dimensions: around 9 mm.
Dark median stripe betwen pre-acrostical setae, tibia 2 with 1 ad. I think Pollenia vagabunda.

 Don't think this is Pollenia, I cannot detect wrinkly hairs. My impression: it looks more to Bellardia sp.
