Can someone narrow down my ID? I found this Ceratopogonidae last week in the Netherlands.

Chironomidae, Tanypodinae. Possibly Psectrotanypus varius. I saw my first Psectrotanypus of the year in New England yesterday. The standard ways to distinguish the families are nearly all Chironomidae have a longitudinal groove in the postnotum and Ceratopogonidae never have an M-Cu crossvein. |

Ok, as far as I could find there's no similar species in NL. Initially, I thought about this species, but I thought it was much bigger than this. Thanks for your help! |
