One for John Smit ... who is (ironically) in Peru Looks like Richardiidae to me but that's just a guess Gorgeous photos ... find some tachinids!

Very nice pic!! It's indeed Richardiidae, genus Richardia. That's what I can do from the top of my head, will get back to it for a species name. Back in the Netherlands at this moment, albeit only for two more weeks... John |
