Hi!

I can't make this one fit any I have previously had, it looks like Anthomyiidae to me. The antennae have a few short hairs. The eyes also have hairs.

23rd March, near Lincoln UK.

I think it must be Muscidae (4 post dcs). How about Helina evecta?

Good suggestion Stephen! I was thinking it could be Muscidae but they are sometimes so similar! There's no males in the gallery, I have to do some research..

Could it be Helina obscurata? The bristles on the hind tibia seem to match.. but does it have hairy eyes?
