Hello! A 3.5-4 mm fly from our house wall this afternoon (northwest Germany). I am not really sure, which family. Maybe Dolichopodidae? Dear Jürgen, I am sorry to intervene here but this is clearly not a Rhaphium (by the way, this genus appears only as early as early May!), but rather a Achalcus, most possibly Achalcus cinereus. "Possibly" because this implies that it's abdominal sternites would be dark, and its thoracic bristles reddish yellow, which is not so clear in the picture. Cheers, Marc |
