Female of Geomyza balachowskyi looks correct. However difficult to be sure without studying sternite 8.

Hello Hedy, Sternite 8 can be found at the underside of the abdomen at the tip, but it's in most cases retracted in the abdomen. When I identify collected specimens I very often need to boil the abdomen in a 10% KOH solution to be able to pull sternite 8 out. So on a picture taken, even from the underside, in most cases you would not be able to see sternite 8. Jan Willem van Zuijlen |
