Taken beside a large lake; this fly was feeding on a yellow flower (Composite), also resting on a nearby leaf.

North of Whitehorse along the Klondike Highway, Yukon, Canada, date 6 July 2009.

Helophilus? Parhelophilus? Something else? ID help appreciated.
