I'm pretty sure this is a Phthiria, but wanted to share it with you all anyway as it just has to be one of the most attractive Bombyliidae around. It's certainly one of my favourites. Photographed yesterday in the countryside near Rome, Italy, Sarah.

other similar sps had black coxae but other characters didīt fit, so, still not an id, but in case she had more pics perhaps she could see it. Unfortunately I canīt get more than a cf. with Phthiria Sad
