Looks very interesting ! First, I'd like to be very sure it is not a Stevenia (Rhinophoridae). The calyptra are difficult to assess. Indication of size ? Did you collect it ? thanks Theo |

Hmm, yes ... looks quite like Stevenia to me and the calyptrae are quite small

If you have a very good look at the first pic, you can see 1 Stevenia bristle, Peleteria bristle if you like, on the parafacial. So it should be Stevenia. Several Stevenia species have reddish abdomens (abdomina for the more classical minds), especially in the female sex. Theo |

Ahhh, is the "Stevenia bristle" present on all Stevenia spp.? That would be a nice feature because I always have trouble guessing rhinophorid genera

Yes, even in Kyrgyzstan and Nigeria, the Stevenia bristle is present in Stevenia. Theo |
