This pupa of a Limoniidae was found along the borders of a ditch with seepage in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, 6 May 2008. I have found no description of this pupa, but the size (26 mm) probably corresponds to Eutonia barbipes, one of the largest Limoniidae. Could anybody confirm the identity, and does anybody knowns if there is a paper on Limoniidae pupae, including this species? In the Brindle (1967) paper the species is missing.
thanks
