I have never managed to identify this female Heleomyzidae found inside my house at Bradwell, Norfolk, England on 26 May 1979. The wing length is 5.2mm and it has a bare prosternum and only one well-developed ventral bristle at the apex of the middle tibia. The head and lower part of the thorax are somewhat greasy. Any help would be appreciated. empeejay attached the following image: ![]() [174.3Kb] |
