Could anybody confirm this pupa (from the province of Zuid Holland, The Netherlands) as the Sciomyzidae Ditaeniella grisescens (syn. Pherbellia grisescens) ? It has ventral and dorsal spinule patches, a prothoracic stigma with numerous papillae (about 16) and short anal lobes with spinules (hard to photograph). I have just verified it using Bratt et al (1967), Biology of Pherbellia and Vala (1989) Sciomyzidae in Faune de France 72. It is unmistakeble D. grisescens for it has a concave cephalic cap (best seen in lateral view), an almost unique feature, only sharing it with the nearctic Ph. humilis. Further diagnostic features are the presence of lateral spinule bands on all segments, absent or in only a few abdominal segments in Pherbellia
