In fact it does, so Tachinidae. Somewhere near Chrysomopsis aurata maybe ... Jari |

I thought it might Palps yellow = Chrysosomopsis ... brown/black = Gymnocheta

Haha - good for you! They're on every tree and fence post here in early Spring ... usually my first tachinid of the year They can be quite variable in colour - your photo looks quite blue but in life they are often green so I wonder if being in alcohol might change the colour a bit.
