Hello
Here is a tachinid to French Guiana, I have Thelaira with the manual of Wood, but it looks more like a "Tachinini". I need help to determine these tropical species. Are there any key of determination? do you have any ideas?

Hi - the photo isn't displaying so check the criteria - no spaces or unnecessary punctuation in the file name and keep the size <190KB Smile

I have been working on French Guianan tachinids so I am very interested to see what you have seen there. The region is quite poorly studied and there are no keys that can help you but when The Manual of Central American Diptera (volume 2) is published then Monty Wood's key there will give you some ideas. But you have to remember that it might not work for anything up to 60% of the fauna you will find in French Guiana Wink
