Can anyone identify this Buprestid beetle to genus/species? It looks quite like images I have found of Anthaxia millefollii polychloros, but there may be many similar species I'm unaware of.

OK many thanks Ruud and Nikola. Seems I got the genus right. I think I saw some pics of A. hungarica but maybe of females which have purple margins to the thorax, and maybe mine is a male, as they are all green. The species name put me off as well, but I read it is common all around the mediterranean.

OK, that helps! Great to put a name to a beetle, there is an inordinate number of them out there!
