Wow - that looks like a rather lovely Tachina sp. ... it should be possible to key it out ... looks close to Tachina ursina/lurida group In fact it reminds me of a few things in the Moscow collection - how long is the body?Not saying that your specimen is one of these but here are some examples (courtesy of the Moscow University Zoological Museum): Tachina ardens ![]() Tachina jacovlevi ![]() Tachina stackelbergi ![]() Tachina amurensis ![]() etc...

Yes, it is a Tachina subgenus Servillia Many Oriental species. Need to work on it, and even then... Theo |
