Hello, I know Phil loves these! As stated by Phil..Psychoda has pointed wings, and the antennae are comprised of flask-shaped segments (i.e. with a distinct neck). This has pointed wings but I'm not sure about the antennae.. the segments look spherical. 3 pics, one showing it trying to remove a mite. I took more pics, one shows two mites had come off! Janet

That's more like it ! You have to imagine the antennal "necks" a bit - think of a string of beads... As to species, and at the risk of being tediously repetitive, you can't identify these from photos. |
