Unlucky, that's the one thing it's definitely not ! Probably Boreoclytocerus (with strong reservations) |

Second thoughts: probably a Pericoma. I now think the other three might be Boreoclytocerus. But you really need to send them to me in alcohol for a positive ID. |

Please, Phil, can you tell us why? I looked at the antennae and the wings....and came to my wrong conclusion. It is a very interesting family, but I am afraid I am doing already too much.

Psychoda has pointed wings, and the antennae are comprised of flask-shaped segments (i.e. with a distinct neck). Pericoma has barrel-shaped antennal segments, with no prolongation of the basal segment...lecture over. |
