Hi, 7th October on Ivy, my garden near Lincoln UK. Size perhaps 5mm but in my mind I have 4mm! I take too many photos.. maybe I thought 4.5mm. ![]() Two pics.. Janet

Built is reminiscent of the yellowish Minettia but this should be a Sapromyza.

You know, my first idea, when i looked at the photo's, was L. sordida, which has 6ac, but I haven't seen so many speciments of this species. I would like to see a clear, more lateral photo in order to look closer to the position of the antenna. I also would like to know whether there are spots on any tergit.
