Ha, ha, ha. I still have an headache because of Paul's blow. He likes to do it in steps....genus....species. Very good, I have to say. For me Platypalpus is a difficult genus.

For everyone it is. Here you have a species with two pairs of vertical setae, strongly elongate third antennal segment and largely glossy mesonotum. That rules out most of the Platypalpus species, especially from the UK.
