Is this a tachinid? Is is possible to id this fly? It was rather large. I found it ten days ago near Soest, the Netherlands.

Looks like Dinera ferina to me but better wait for Theo to confirm

Thank you, Chris. It does look like the Dinera ferina in the gallery, but I have learned to be cautious and I'll wait for Theo.
