I know this is a basic question but the internet is a minefield of errors so I wanted to nail this one. I've seen two spotted Maniola jurtina and one spotted Pyronia on the internet, I favour Pyronia tithonus but this one doesn't seem to have the narrow band of pale colour around the fore and hind wing margins that the photos labelled as Pyronia tithonus have. Taken in July in SE England visiting Origanum
