The Levan Principle
For many years before Albert Levan co-authored with J.H. Tijo the classic paper in which they showed that the correct chromosome number in humans was 46, not 48, almost all scientists believed 48 to be the correct number even though all photographs showed 46. This gave rise to the Levan theory ?All scientists are blind? ie. ?See what they believe to be there?. Now let me see??
