Thank you Jorge! It is such a lovely little fly. I had a look at Drosophilidae in the gallery (after your help) but can't get to species. Why do you think it is a newly emerged fly? |

due the teneral colours, i.e., it has not fully attained its mature coloring. And the change of the colour/shape on the scutum (anterior part of the thorax) is clear comparing the last photo with the former.

It looks like it became more white in colour within a couple of minutes. The 4th (last) photo was actually taken before the first three photos. |

It is the same specimen Jorge. The 4th photo was taken at 09h05 and the rest at 09h06; 09h08 and 09h09 respectively. |
