I found this fly on my front door, desperate to escape out of my house, Kapellen, Belgium. Looked through the Gallery and my guess is Tachinidae (although Sarcophagidae seems a possibility too). Is ID up to species level possible? More pictures and specimen available if needed. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Jorge, it seems that I have to learn a lot more about flies. Apparently, the only species in my region is G. maculata. |
