I have just been having a look at some specimens that I'd originally labelled "Z.zernyi" because that's what I'd been led to believe ... but now that I come to key them (using Die Fliegen) they all run to Z.sicardi. This one is mainly for Theo but I'd be interested to hear his opinion

Yes, that link shows one of the specimens that I am calling Z.sicardi ... the T1+2 median marginals are not obvious but they are there in a few of the photos.

I see clearly marginals on tergite 2, so that's why I call this sicardi. It resembles my sicardi. Theo |
