Hello to all! This one I bought ...err... caught at the Aldi's in my hometown (window, outside). According to the gallery it seems most similar to Hybomitra bimaculata... but it is not that I say "This is it!!!". So is it the one or another? Size 15mm. If other details needed, I still have it, so I can provide other pics. Only the eyes have meanwhile lost their colour. 13.7.2010, Germany, Upper Bavaria, Traunstein, about 600m asl Rupert Huber attached the following image: ![]() [101.02Kb] Edited by Rupert Huber on 15-07-2010 19:16 Best greetings Rupert |

Hi Theo! I give you what I have about the eyes. The detail of the last picture is the last one again. I hope you find the detail you need. Rupert Huber attached the following image: ![]() [118.35Kb] Edited by Rupert Huber on 16-07-2010 16:29 Best greetings Rupert |

Despite the good pictures, it is difficult to tell. It is not bimaculata, since the upper facets are enlarged (though little). It doesn't look like montana-group, moreover, only montana-group with dark notopleural lobes is lundbecki, which is no longer active in July. So, the dark notopleural lobes and yellowish appearence then suggest distinguenda. Theo |

Thanks Theo! You don't seem to be totally sure. Could it be helpful making detail pictures with my USB-microscope (if yes, what details do you need?) Best greetings Rupert |
