Hello,

I found this insect a few minutes ago in our garden.

Location:
Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Handewitt near Flensburg, garden, 15.7.10

I think it is Anthidium manicatum.
Can anyone confirm this or is it another Anthidium species?

Regards,
Mario

Looks like a male of A. manicatum indeed. There is a nice German website on such bees (http://www.tierun...barten.htm).
