Do you have any lateral shots? The top photo appears to show Peleteria-bristles but I'm not sure if it is a trick of the angle.

Hi Chris! No, I was glad to get these dorsal ones, because the fly was very active and I was already too finished to continue running after it (finished from the mountain tour of course, not from running after this fly )

There is another simply feature: ocellars are lacking, thus Peleteria. This should be the classic hilltopper P. prompta. Strictly speaking, we can see it from the pic, but the circumstances make it pretty sure. Theo |
