Looks like Opomyza petrei but I'm not entirely convinced. The abdomen is not that brightly coloured. I have seen females of Opomyza spec. that looked like this but turned out to be O. germinationis. Did you collect the specimen?

Jan, I did not collect, but all "large" Opomyzas I see these days have the same brightlness on the abdomen. So it should be an easy task to go out and pick one ![]() By the way O. lineatopunctata has started to appear now, I will collect as promised. Hyperbolizer |

That would be great! With a specimen at hand it is easy to distingiush O. germinationis from O. petrei (in most cases). And some material of O lineatopunctata would be great.
