So, I was wrong, not drosophila but Lauxaniidae Sapromyza

(I'm getting better(?) - this was not just a guess, but a calculated guess, then comparison with the gallery photos. So hopefully Drosophila). The eyes appear to be green or could that be a reflection from the leaves?

Lauxaniidae not Drosophila, damn - i'd go back to birds if I could get this close to photograph them.

I find that a pin and a blindfold is the best way to make decisions regarding ID'ing from the Gallery....It works for me....Pfft Bit hard on the Laptop Screen though...Frown
