Hello, this fly is from two weeks ago from a roadside near Neuss (germany). The picture is not very good, but can perhaps the family or the genus be recognized? Length was perhaps 8 or 9mm. Thanks, Michael Michael Becker attached the following image: ![]() [31.46Kb] |

The hind leg bear too much long pd for Phaonia, and (hard to see) there are only 3 post dc : this is a male Pegomya testacea (=silacea).
