Hi Valter, This is a great shot of Leptomydas lusitanicus. Would you allow me to use this image for the Mydidae web-site www.mydidae.tdvia.de? I would certainly acknowledge you as the photographer. Also, could you by any chance collect a specimen in 95% ethanol? I am currently working on a phylogeny of the family and since this species is the type species of Leptomydas, it would be great to add molecular data to the morphological data that I have gathered already (to be presented at the 7th International Congress of Dipterology in August).
Thanks, Torsten (torsten@tdvia.de)

Torsten, I will go to the place to collect specimens. But this is not a promise! Hopefully Leptomydas visits frequently the place in July as well.
