Hi,
I photographed a rusty furry Asilidae last month in Turkey at the Perge site (not far from Antalya). Its photo was posted on http://www.insecte.org/

but its identification has eluded us until now. I hope you will be able to help.

Thank you very much for the identification. Apparently there is not a single (easily accessible at least) image of this species on the web which I found surprising giving the beauty of it!
