photos taken: East Bohemia, CZ, 16th of April. Those flies on photos 1 and 2 are of genus Fannia - I suppose. Are they, however, of the same species?: maybe not!! I'd guess Muscidae for the first two. Something like Hebecnema? They must be different species - look at the way the eyes meet. But don't trust what I say! The third could be from Anthomyiidae. Stephen. Edited by Stephen R on 02-06-2010 09:32 |

Stephen, I am convinced Hebecnema has always the plumose arista: this is not the case of those first and second... Petr |
