Does anyone know the name of this beach fly? I have these three (bad) pictures. It was found last week on a beach in the Netherlands. Thanks in advance.

It looks like Anthomyiidae; Fucellia sp. I looked through some photo's I have of F.fucorum taken at about the same angle. Seems to be the right shape etc. Can't be sure of the species of your one though.

Regards Roger

Thank you. The difference with your fly is that yours has totally black tibiae.
