Hello,

this ~10mm Empis species - is it? - is from about one week ago from near Cologne. Can perhaps the species be identified?

I would say Empis (Xanthempis) trigramma female. And as I have 5 pictures in the Gallery of them, I hope I'm correct...Smile

Thank you for the answer. There seems to be no similar species besides of digramma with the two stripes.
