The Entomological Society of Canada has just announced they are making available a number of their Agriculture Monographs; pdf's are posted here http://www.esc-sec.ca/aafcmono.html. These monographs include some of the major publications on North American Diptera: vols. 1-3 of the "Manual of Nearctic Diptera"; Teskey - Tabanidae of Canada; Wood, et al - Culicidae of Canada; Vockeroth - Syrphinae of Canada. Great! Thanks for the link. Goulet, H. & Huber, J., 1993, Hymenoptera of the world: an identification guide to families; that is another very useful one.
