Acrostichals broad with hairs between + lower calypter beyond upper one + 1 av on hindtibia and 1 av on midtibia.....and mouth protruding..?
Unsurtain Paregle audacula ......(was Paregle radicum) and looks also very simular to Pegoplata aestiva...

That didn't take long Smile..thought you were going to be away studying etc. Shock.
Anyway...Looked through some old threads and this does seem to be P.audacula as in this ..http://www.dipter...d_id=15007 which has a yellow frons...but this one....http://www.dipter...d_id=27351 has a black frons. Are they variable in this respect?

That didn't take long ..thought you were going to be away studying etc. .

I was far behind with my study....but now I am back to the normal level of being behind..Grin
But after the weekend i will be quiet again...so don't worry!
(Have still more to do...Cool )
And about the red frontal vitta.....i think is has to do with the fly being fresh!
Probable it will turn to black after a while !!
And indeed the notopleuron is haired also.....so it can be a surtain P.audacula....
