The earliest record I could find so far is in the Oriental catalogue of 1977. I'll check other literature later.

It is certainly possible that he based this distribution record on specimens he had seen - so it could be the original record. |

Sapromyza (Sapromyza) zebra (Kertész, 1913). Oriental: China (Taiwan), Japan (Ryukyu Islands), Nepal. In the following papers, I can find the locality of the first two, except the Oriental catalogue of 1977 Sasakawa, Mitsuhiro. 1998 Oriental Lauxaniidae (Diptera) part 1. Scientific Reports of Kyoto Prefectural University Human Enviroment and Agriculture, 50: 49–74. Sasakawa, Mitsuhiro. 2002. Oriental Lauxaniidae (Diptera) Part 3. Fauna of the Lauxaniidae in Japan (Ryukyus) and Formosa. Scientific Reports of Kyoto Prefectural University Human Enviroment and Agriculture, 54: 33–61. I looked through all my literatures of Lauxaniidae, I can not still find the distribution of Nepal. and also I check it in BDWD, no specific locality of Nepal.
