Found in Brussels on April 28th. Psilota anthracina (Syrphidae)?

Could be, but I still think Psilota (a syrphidae, not a platypezidae as I wrongly wrote initially) is a better match. Let's hope somebody out there can help us! Thank you for your answer, Jean |

That's a Lonchaeidae for sure - look at the wing venation - it certainly is not Syrphidae.
