Hi,
I found this fly in big numbers in a cave in Northern France. (date: 2 february 2010)

It was present in practicaly all the caves we visited.

I guess it will come close to a Heleomyza captiosa. I found it also often in caves

I checked its genitalia with this thread: http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=27392

and it only confirms H. captiosa.

Hi, really H. captiosa, not rare in France, especially in the southern part !
