That would be my first guess from the facial dusting & bristles, plus the shadow fold on the median vein. But the thoracic dusting looks interesting - it doesn't look like one I have seen before

Not to mention that the eyes are very hairy, only seen in Exorista grandis, which is, nomen est omen, bigger. But I agree with Exoristini. Phorinia aurifrons (again, nomen...) comes in mind Theo |

This is one of the Santaclaus flies with the white beard. I am happy that the pics are OK, I think I will not meet this fly very often in the future.
