18 May 2008, De Weerribben, Netherlands. De genitalia is as red as the eyes. Three almost equally developed postsutural pd's. Is there enough info in the picture to go to subgenus? I see these flies often in a specific way appressed to the substrate, different from S. africa. And there is that blue shine Klaas Klaas attached the following image:  [171.22Kb] |
