I am interested in non-fera Tachinas mostly, but do not understand the difference between species.

Most of them are fera.

Magnicornis is:
The first one is from May, Hungary.

Both species are very similar indeed, only male genitalia are really reliable.

(That is why I can ID them so easily from pictures !)
