Been recently trying to get some insight in the family Sphaeroceridae, which has so far been a relatively low-positioned one in my top list.

I've got a couple of revisions by Rohacek, but I'm missing the West Palearctic revision of Leptocera Olivier he has published somewhere in 1982. Does anyone have it easily at hand; my guestion is: In which journal was it published?

Are there any ardent sphaerocerid enthusiasts or specialists in this forum? In case I found something sensational or mysterious who could I contact?

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
