Hi,

This is a Ptychoptera spec [Diptera: Nematocera: Ptychopteridae]. I think it should be possible to give a species name, but I don't know it by heart. Once it is identified to species level, it would be a nice addition for the Diptera Gallery.

I found this Ptychoptera in a Brussels wetland the 10th september 2006. In the Soortenbank Nederland I found that the pale metatars is typical for Ptychoptera albimana. Is it ?

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
