it is a way to express the beauty of this fly and specially the bicolour of the eyes. Smile Also I love so much those very small microtrichia (very small "hairs" ) acrostichal (zone between the middle and the periphery of the thorax...).
The fly itself resembles like a robot fly.. Smile the greyish metallic colour and the position it has in relation to the leaf.

your ccd needs a clean. this is the big disadvantage in dslr! Sad

This is most probably some species of Lindneromyia ! Could be described as Symmetricela or Pennesymetria, now it is synonymised.
