All the Pollenia in the gallery seem much hairier on the thorax and much less hairy on the eyes.![]() Gordon |

How about Dasyphora (Muscidae)? The M vein bend is not sharp enough for Calliphoridae.

Well spotted, it is indeed Dasyphora : male Dasyphora albofasciata to be more precise.
