could this horse fly with only one wing be Tabanus sudeticus?
Furth im Wald, Bavaria, Germany, own garden pond, 2006-06-21

Actually, this is a genuine T. bovinus female.
You don't see them often, these days.

Any chance you collect it ? I know a guy who is badly in need for bovinus (type of the genus) for DNA sampling

Unfortunately I have not collected the animal, because my main interest are the moths...
